Here we are at 15 weeks pregnant. Hopefully you’re out of the sickness phase that tends to plague the end of the first trimester and beginning of the second.
Things should be getting better. With that in mind, here’s what’s going on this week.

Baby at 15 Weeks Pregnant
Not only is baby now moving around, but also his ear bones are forming and moving into their final positions.
So, if the question was “Will my baby look like a Picasso portrait?” the answer is “Nope.”
Hair is starting to grow, including eyelashes and eyebrows, which start to form around this time.
At this point, an ultrasound may even be able to detect your baby’s gender.

Mom at 15 Weeks Pregnant
This is probably a good (better) time for mom. She may be starting to “feel” pregnant, but it probably isn’t obvious to everyone else yet.
This is a great time to buy maternity clothes. Gap, Old Navy and Target are good bets, and she may even have some friends from whom she can borrow clothes.
Women feel better when they feel comfortable in their clothes. Trust me.
Her immune system may start to weaken around this time. Encourage her to eat frequently, keep snacks handy, and keep drinking lots of water.
Your partner’s sleep may be starting to get uncomfortable. She needs a good pillow to help her rest better. Check out the “snoogle” pillow (we checked, that’s not a former character from Jersey Shore).
Keep encouraging her. Find some friends who you can get encouragement and advice from. You’re doing a great job.
Pregnancy Tips for Dad at 15 Weeks
It’s probably a good idea to start thinking about how active you want to be in the delivery process.
If you’re the squeamish type, your best bet is going to be to stay close to your spouse’s head and holding her hand.
Also start researching different labor methods. Look into the Bradley Method and Lamaze, among others.
Have you started planning the babymoon yet? Now is the time to make plans to get away before baby arrives.
Continue to ask her questions like, “How are you feeling?” “What are you worried about?” Avoid questions like “Can I borrow your maternity pants for Thanksgiving?”
And speaking of maternity clothes, rather than buying them yourself, it would be a great gesture to buy a gift card for her so she can do the shopping.
