Baby at 9 Weeks Pregnant
Insane in the membrane! Your baby’s brain is starting to function and the head is still pretty huge relative to its body.
Baby’s tadpole tail is starting to disappear, which should be a huge relief. And your baby’s major organs are starting to develop. Just not the minor, useless ones like the appendix.
No one really needs an appendix.

Chances are, your partner is more than likely feeling like crap. Tired, achy, beginning to experience morning sickness.
If she seems preoccupied and not thinking about you, you’re right.
She’s more than likely just thinking about the baby or focusing on not being sick.
Her sense of smell is way heightened right now. Do your best to avoid stinky foods, take out the trash often, and take a shower.
Probably the best thing you can do for your spouse right now is simply to be present with her. Be on standby if there’s anything she needs you to do.
Pregnancy Tips for Dad at 9 Weeks
Your mind may be swirling with things to do.
Lists are your friend.
Start making lists of baby names, things for the nursery, baby shower lists, questions for doctors, etc.
If your partner or the doctor mentions complicated medical terms, do your research. Ask Dr. Google! Just avoid WebMD or you’ll end up self-diagnosing yourself with bubonic plague.
