You may both be tired of being pregnant. If this is the case, take a random day off work this week. Just clear it with your boss first.

Baby at 35 Weeks Pregnant
Boy, it’s getting crowded in here! Your baby is growing rapidly, packing on the pounds. He’s around 5 pounds this week (the same weight as half a cat…don’t ask how we figured that out) and 18 inches long. His bones are continuing to harden. Pretty soon he’ll be looking for a way out of this cramped area.

If she feels like she’s getting kicked in the ribs, it’s because she is. This baby is rapidly running out of room. That’s why her organs feel like a dozen fat guys trying to share an Uber in a Mini Cooper. She’ll likely begin to experience Braxton-Hicks contractions. These occur around her upper abdomen, near her breasts, and will subside. This is totally normal and not a cause for alarm. Lil’ Brax is just practicing for the big event.
So she may be tired of feeling tired. Maybe you both take a day off work, and then each do whatever you’d like to do. There’s nothing wrong with a little day drinking (for you) on your day off.
Pregnancy Tips for Dad at 35 Weeks
Back rub. Foot rub. Repeat until childbirth. Do the laundry (and even fold it). Bring some flowers home. She’ll really appreciate the extra effort. Make sure you both have that birth plan on your phones. When it’s go time, you may have a hard time thinking straight. When in doubt, consult the birth plan.
